Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role inmanaging the onboarding of new clients assessing their currentaccounting processes and implementing improvements to optimizefinancial workflows. This position involves direct interaction withclients to understand and refine their financial systems managinginternal coordination with senior accountants and conductingperiodic financial reviews. The ideal candidate will have strongaccounting expertise and experience in client onboarding within anoutsourced accounting environment.

KeyResponsibilities:

Client Onboarding and ProcessImprovement:

  • Lead theonboarding process for new clients by evaluating their currentaccounting systems and workflows.
  • Clean up andreorganize financial records and books to ensure accuracy andcompliance.
  • Develop and implement newaccounting processes software and workflows to streamline andenhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with senioraccountants to support onboarding efforts and ensure seamlesstransitions.

ClientInteraction and Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact forclients during the onboarding phase managing communications viaemail and Zoom.
  • Provide ongoing support andguidance to clients ensuring a smooth onboardingexperience.
  • Conduct periodic financial reviewsof other accounting managers clients to ensure adherence to bestpractices and compliance.

Financial Planning and Analysis(FP&A):

  • Dependingon experience assist with financial planning and analysis tasks tosupport client and company goals.
  • Preparefinancial reports and provide insights on financial performance toinform strategic decisionmaking.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting or financialmanagement ideally within an outsourced accounting firm handlingmultiple clients.
  • Proficiency with accountingsoftware preferably QuickBooks Online (QBO); experience with otheraccounting tools (e.g. QuickBooks Desktop Sage Netsuite) isadvantageous but not required.
  • Strong Englishlanguage proficiency (written and verbal) and excellentcommunication skills.
  • Ability to managemultiple client relationships and coordinate with internal teamseffectively.
  • Familiarity with financialplanning and analysis is a plus.
  • Experiencewith USbased clients or accounting practices is highlydesirable.

NicetoHaves:

  • Experience working in an outsourced accountingfirm managing multiple clientssimultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Culture Indexassessments or similar tools for team and clientcompatibility.
