  • Provide counselingand guidance to students regarding educational opportunities in theUSA
  • Assist students in understanding admissionrequirements and application processes
  • Offersupport in career planning and goalsetting
  • Organize workshops and seminars onstudying in the USA
  • Assess studentsqualifications and provide recommendations on suitable academicprograms
  • Stay updated on changes in immigrationand visa regulations
  • Collaborate withuniversities and colleges in the USA to stay informed about theirprograms
  • Help students with visa applicationprocedures and documentation
  • Provide mentorshipand support to students during their transition to theUSA
  • Manage and maintain accurate records ofstudent information and progress
  • Assist inmarketing and promoting educational opportunities in theUSA
  • Address any cultural or social adaptationissues that students may face
  • Conductinterviews and assessments for students careerplanning
  • Offer support and advice on financialaid options andscholarships
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree incounseling education or related field
  • Provenexperience in academic advising counseling or studentservices
  • Deep understanding of the US highereducation system and admissionsprocesses
  • Strong knowledge of visa andimmigration procedures for internationalstudents
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
  • Empathetic andunderstanding nature towards studentsneeds
  • Ability to work effectively withindividuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Strongorganizational and time managementskills
  • Proficient in using educational andcareer counseling tools and resources
  • Knowledgeof financial aid options and scholarships available forinternational students
  • Familiarity witheducational marketing and promotionstrategies
  • Certification in counseling oradvising is an advantage
  • Ability to adapt tochanging immigration and educationpolicies
  • Strong problemsolving anddecisionmaking skills
  • Fluency in English;knowledge of additional languages is aplus
