JobSummary:

Asan Analyst in the Finance Domain you will play a crucial role insupporting the data science team and collaborating with the CV/NLPteams to extract analyze and interpret financial data for riskanalysis purposes. This position requires a strong foundation infinance concepts and the ability to guide and assist the datascientists in working with financedatasets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaboratewith the data science team to gather and analyze financial data forrisk analysisprojects.

  2. Workclosely with the CV/NLP teams to develop and implement dataextraction methodologies specifically for financedatasets.

  3. Assistin building scorecards and models to evaluate and predict financialriskpatterns.

  4. Providesubject matter expertise in finance to guide the data science teamin working with financial datasets and ensuring data accuracy andintegrity.

  5. Conductexploratory data analysis on financial data to identify patternstrends and insights relevant to riskanalysis.

  6. Performstatistical analysis and hypothesis testing on finance datasets tovalidate models andfindings.

  7. Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams including finance professionals toensure smooth data flow and seamless integration of models intoproductionsystems.

Qualifications:

  • Mastersdegree/ Professional Qualification like CA/CFA in a relevant fieldsuch asFinance

  • Strongunderstanding of finance concepts such as risk management financialmarkets and financialanalysis.

  • Knowledgeof data visualization techniques and tools (e.g. Tableaumatplotlib) for finance data analysis is anadvantage.

  • Excellentproblemsolving and analyticalskills.

  • Effectivecommunication and collaborationabilities.

  • Abilityto work independently and as part of a team in a fastpacedenvironment.

  • Previousexperience or exposure to risk analysis or the financial industryispreferred.

Knowledge of datavisualization techniques and tools (e.g., Tableau, matplotlib) forfinance data analysis is an advantage. Excellent problem-solvingand analytical skills. Effective communication and collaborationabilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in afast-paced environment. Previous experience or exposure to riskanalysis or the financial industry is preferred.
