Requirements

Weare looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineerwith expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tojoin our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years ofexperience in building deploying and maintaining scalableinfrastructure using GCPservices.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructureas Code (IaC): Design build and maintain infrastructureon GCP using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or DeploymentManager.
  • CI/CD PipelineSetup: Develop and manage continuous integration anddelivery pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or similartools.
  • CloudAutomation: Automate cloud infrastructure deploymentmonitoring and scaling using GCP services (e.g. Cloud FunctionsCloud Run GKE and ComputeEngine).
  • SystemMonitoring: Implement monitoring solutions using GCPtools such as Stackdriver and Prometheus ensuring high availabilityand reliability ofservices.
  • Security& Compliance: Ensure the cloud environmentcomplies with security best practices and manage identity andaccess management (IAM) roles policies andfirewalls.
  • ContainerOrchestration: Manage and deploy containerizedapplications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKEpreferred).
  • Scripting& Automation: Write scripts to automateinfrastructure tasks (Bash Python or similarlanguages).
  • Collaboration:Work closely with software developers architects and otherstakeholders to streamline the development lifecycle and optimizeworkflows.
  • CostOptimization: Monitor and optimize cloud costs byrightsizing resources and implementing costsavingtechniques.

Requirements:

  • 38years of experience working in DevOps with a focus oncloud technologies andautomation.
  • Strong experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) and its servicessuch as Compute Engine Cloud Functions Cloud Storage andVPC.
  • Proficiency inInfrastructure as Code (IaC) tools likeTerraform CloudFormation or GCP DeploymentManager.
  • Expertise in CI/CDpipelines using Jenkins GitLab or similartools.
  • Handsonexperience with container technologies like Docker andKubernetes (preferablyGKE).
  • Proficiency inscripting languages (Python Bash etc.) forautomating infrastructuretasks.
  • Strong understanding ofnetworking security and compliance in cloudenvironments.
  • Experience withmonitoring tools such as Stackdriver PrometheusandGrafana.

PreferredSkills:

  • Knowledgeof DevSecOps practices and integrating securityinto CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experiencewith cloud cost optimization and managementtechniques.
  • Certifications inGoogle Cloud Platform are aplus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • GCPcertifications (e.g. GCP Professional Cloud ArchitectDevOps Engineer) are an addedadvantage.
