Requirements

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Design electrical control systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects
  • Prepare and review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and cost estimation
  • Perform electrical calculations and simulations
  • Select and specify electrical materials, equipment, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations
  • Support commissioning and testing activities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
  • Monitor and evaluate electrical system performance

Requirements
1. Experience in Electrical Design, detail engineering, preparation of layout drawings, cable routing etc. 2. Experience in cable sizing calculation and selection of electrical Equipment 3. Knowledge in Hazardous Area Classifications and related electrical equipment selection. 4. Prepare technical documents and drawings based on the clients specifications and requirements. 5. Design all types of Power diagrams with suitable circuit protections. 6. Prepare Instrument loop diagrams. 7. Prepare Wiring Schedules and Field Cable Schedules. 8. Supervise and review the design. 9. To report all near misses & incidents to the responsible Manager 10. Authorized to stop work if the working condition or actions from individuals pose hazards or can cause accidents.
