OverviewThe PythonDjango Developer plays a crucial role in creating and maintainingweb applications using the Django framework which is widely usedfor developing secure and scalable web solutions. The role involvescollaborating with crossfunctional teams to design develop anddeploy custom web applications ensuring the seamless integration offrontend and backend elements.Keyresponsibilities
  • Designing andimplementing scalable reliable and maintainable Python Djangoapplications.
  • Collaborating with the frontenddevelopers to integrate userfacing elements with serversidelogic.
  • Developing and consuming RESTful APIs toenable seamless communication between differentsystems.
  • Optimizing the performance andresponsiveness of web applications by implementing efficient codeand data storage solutions.
  • Identifying andresolving technical issues and bugs in existingapplications.
  • Implementing security and dataprotection measures to safeguard web applications from potentialthreats.
  • Conducting thorough testing anddebugging to ensure the robustness and efficiency of the developedapplications.
  • Documenting application featurestechnical specifications and deploymentprocesses.
  • Collaborating with the team tobrainstorm and implement new features andfunctionalities.
  • Staying updated with thelatest industry trends technologies and best practices in webdevelopment.
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Proven work experience as a PythonDjango Developer or a similar role.
  • Proficiencyin Python programming language and its frameworks particularlyDjango.
  • Strong understanding of web developmentconcepts and technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript andresponsive design.
  • Experience working withrelational databases and writing optimized SQLqueries.
  • Familiarity with version controlsystems such as Git for managing coderepositories.
  • Ability to work in an Agiledevelopment environment and use tools like Jira or Trello forproject management.
  • Excellent problemsolvingskills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complexapplications.
  • Good understanding of softwaredesign patterns and best practices in web applicationdevelopment.
  • Effective communication andteamwork skills to collaborate with crossfunctionalteams.
  • Experience in deploying and maintainingweb applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is aplus.
