Job Description

Creating engineered custom designed solutions, which will protect products during their distribution cycle from point of manufacture through to the receipt by the customer Manage multiple projects, achieving objectives and meeting the deadlines Carry out package and materials performance testing when necessary Creating reports relating to the performance of engineered solutions Liaising with the fabricators / converters / end users with regards to their products on a regular basis, interpret their needs and act accordingly. Provide package testing to the broad customer base Collaborating with other Asia PAC’s, exchanging design/solution ideas Produce engineering drawings using Solid Works CAD system, showing solutions in 2D and 3D Creating and managing weekly project schedule – prioritizing projects Daily monitoring of project activity and adjust as appropriate – handling any issues – making sure deadlines/expectations are being met, feedback to your manager Management of purchase orders and invoices with vendors, making sure paperwork is accurate, any PO’s which need to created are done on the due date specified Creating monthly PAC report on the first working day of each month Liaising with the sales team on projects, building a rapport with them Health & Safety in the workplace, good housekeeping rules both in and out of the office area Package Design Request’s/ Insite entries to be reviewed personally, in addition to the designer making sure the information is complete for the project. This to be done at the point of submission and not left for several days before action is taken Up-keep personal skill on design at appropriate time, self-commit. Keep all package test equipment in a safe and usable condition. In addition, all equipment needs to have up to date calibration certificates and inspection documented available for audit Responsibilities are not extensive or limited.

Qualifications

Bachelor / Btech / BE Degree in a science, engineering, or packaging discipline At least two years of professional experience preferrably in packaging industry. Sophisticated in AutoCAD, AI, or Solid works Flexible travel domestically Basic written and verbal communication skills Experience creating data-driven reports to communicate technical ideas Ability to effectively present concepts and ideas Experience in managing multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines Professional, highly-motivated, reliable, and solutions-orientated Project management and cross-functional communication skills Must possess strong interpersonal skills and a work ethic that corresponds with Sealed Air’s core values.
