This is a remote position.

We are looking foraDatabaseDeveloperwith proven design and development skillsto join a small highly motivated team. The right developer willturn business requirements into applications that delight ourbusiness partners. They will collaborate with their team as well asothers inside and outside IT to deliver new capabilities that moveour businessforward.

Responsibilities:
  • You willplay a crucial role in developing testing improving and maintainingboth new and existing databases to ensure efficient and effectivedataretrieval.
  • Your expertise will contribute tosystem consistency and support our domainprojects.
  • Develop test and maintain new andexisting databases to ensure efficient data retrieval andmanagement.
  • Collaborate closely withdevelopers administrators and clients to provide technical supportand identify newrequirements.
  • Ensure system consistency andreliability by adhering to best practices and codingstandards.
  • Design and implement databasesolutions including stored procedures functions triggers and viewsusingTSQL.
  • Produce highquality code andresolve complex design and architectureissues.
  • Perform database performancetuning diagnose and troubleshoot errors and recommend emergingdatabasetechnologies.
  • Create and manage comprehensivedatabase reports visualizations anddashboards.
  • Automate recurring database tasksto improveefficiency.
  • Maintain and enforce databasestandards ensuring data integrity andsecurity.
  • Implement SSIS and SSRS for dataintegration andreporting.
  • Demonstrate strong problemsolvingskills and critical thinking in resolving technicalchallenges.


Requirements
  • 5 yearsof experience in database development information technologydatabase architecture or a relatedfield.
  • Extensive experience withdatabase technologies such as MSSQL.
  • Strong command of SQL and SQLservertools.
  • Familiarity with Azure highlydesirable.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills with a keen attention todetail.
  • Demonstrated ability to producehighquality code and follow bestpractices.
  • Advanced knowledge of relationaldatabase concepts and database designprinciples.
  • Proficient in writing andoptimizing complex TSQL queries and databasescripts.
  • Expertise in database performancetuning andtroubleshooting.
  • Experience with databaseautomation tools andtechniques.
  • Strong organizational skills anda problemsolvingattitude.
  • Ability to handle multipleprojects simultaneously and meetdeadlines.
  • Agile development practicesincluding the Scrumframework.
  • Team Foundation Services andGit.
  • Strong work ethic requiringminimal supervisionrequired.
  • A sense ofcuriosity.
  • Good communicationskills.

Minimum of 4 years ofexperience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on ITOM.Proven expertise in ITOM, particularly in Discovery, ServiceMapping, and Event Management. ServiceNow Certified ApplicationDeveloper, Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM) preferred.Proficient in JavaScript, Glide, and other relevant programminglanguages. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with theability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellentverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conveycomplex technical concepts to non-technicalstakeholders.
