Cybersecurity Specialist

OverviewTheCybersecurity Specialist plays a crucial role in protecting ourorganizations sensitive information and systems from cyber threatsand attacks. They are responsible for implementing securitymeasures monitoring for security breaches and responding toincidents. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our digital assetsand ensuring regulatory compliance.KeyResponsibilities

• Successfully planexecute monitor control and close all technical tasks related toconfiguration and support of all aspects of the ServiceNow platformspecifically to address security requirements and enhance ourorganizations security posture.
• Collaboratewith stakeholders to gather and understand business requirementsand translate them into technicalspecifications.
• Experience in designing andimplementing ServiceNow SecOps solutions including automation ofsecurity processes.
• Develop and maintainServiceNow workflows forms scripts and integrations to automatesecurity processes and improveefficiency.
• Provide support for software codingand customization including but not limited to: user interfacesworkflow administration report setup data imports integrationscripting thirdparty software integrations and custom applicationdevelopment.
• Update and maintain acomprehensive testing suite to support outofthebox (OOTB) as wellas custom applications with the purpose of regressiontesting.
• Maintain interfaces for externalintegrations leveraging ServiceNow s Integration Hub REST and otherstandard integration protocols.
• Coordinate andsolve complex technical data and transformation issues related todata ingestion and external integration
• Obtainand analyze/interpret business requirements to create sustainablesolutions in ServiceNow.
• Answer how totechnical and application configurationquestions.
• Conduct regular testing andtroubleshooting of ServiceNow SecOps solutions to identify andresolve any issues or bugs.
• Stay uptodate withthe latest industry trends and best practices in ServiceNow SecOpsdevelopment and proactively recommend improvements to enhance oursecurity operations.
• Provide technical guidanceand support to junior developers and teammembers.
• Assisting in regulatory complianceefforts such as GDPR and HIPAA
• Developingincident response plans and playbooks
• Assessingthirdparty security controls and vendor riskmanagement

RequiredQualifications

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
• Certifications such as CISSP CISM orCEH
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as aServiceNow Developer with a focus on SecurityOperations.
• Strong background in ServiceNowdevelopment security operations and a passion for staying uptodatewith the latest industry trends
• Solidunderstanding of security operations and best practices includingincident response vulnerability management and threatintelligence
