The IPB Cash Processing Associate will be part of Wealth Management Operations team. Partnering with Global Business-client facing teams to ensure IPB Operations are compliant with required standards & all deliverables day to day are met.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the IPB Cash Processing team (EMEA region) for the JP Morgan Wealth Management business, including management duties like training, operational controls, and adherence to policies and procedures. Oversee the cash processing activities which include timely processing & approval of incoming and outgoing client payments, monitoring swift messages, investigating the wire transfer issues and managing escalations.  An acute awareness of the high risk, time critical and complex nature of the Private Banking environment, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.  Responsible for ensuring wire transfers are processed as per client instructions are processed in a timely manner by Partnering with respective EMEA Client Service teams to provide an excellent client experience. Liaising with internal teams, correspondent banks for payment related issues  Drives results through leadership, people, communication and influence  Function effectively in a high volume, rapid pace, deadline-oriented environment.  Manage KPIs (key performance indicators) for the segment/group to ensure consistency in quality and timeliness of completion, data driven decisions for enhanced client experience. Handles escalation on delivery related issues. Promote process improvement ideas and share best practices across the segment/group. Risk management, issue identification and escalation. Assess areas for process and system improvements and propose potential solutions. Create an effective control environment within the team and assist in development, implementation and periodic performance of key controls. Create an effective partnership with onshore leads/stakeholders through proactive & effective communication channels, business reviews, governance models etc.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

Graduate Degree; MBA or other post graduate degree is a plus  At least 10-12 years of experience in Financial Services, Operations or management in Investment Banking Wealth Management. Cash Operations experience is preferred.  Strong knowledge of SWIFT payments such as MT202, MT 103, financial markets and products, and easiness/expertise in dealing with Excel. Proven track record of effective leadership relative to Strategic change management and process re-engineering including Technology driven projects.  Strong ability to build relationships with and influence colleagues, business leaders and functional partners. Strong industry experience with understanding of standards implemented in industry and well networked with industry peers. Consultative in approach, understanding and anticipating business partner needs and proactively delivering solutions; collaborate effectively with Operations Leaders and their respective organizations, and key partners across JPMorgan’s Wealth Management businesses, Technology and Business colleagues to drive issue resolution and maintain smooth operations. Drives critical thinking and proactively seeks out best practices, anticipates clients’ future needs and collaborates on ideas with others. Understands clients’ needs and impact on relationship across . Morgan entities.  Be a highly motivated individual with problem solving and transformation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Knowledge of various automation tools & AI/ML understanding will be an added advantage.
