DC Admin- Operations
Location
Jaipur/Mumbai
Key Skills Required
Knowledge of Infra Management Tool Like Zabbix, Trellis, Sun bird, DCIM for administration and capacity management.
Basic Knowledge of Passive Infra (Electrical, HVAC, PAC, UPS etc) and Hands on working knowledge on i-PDU's, STS, ATS etc.
Basic Knowledge of Active Infra (Server, Storage, appliances, Fire wall etc)
Knowledge of Data centre related parameters (cooling, power) and ISO standards
Basic Knowledge of Network troubleshooting (Telnet, Putty, Ping, Port visibility, FC troubleshooting)
Knowledge of structured cabling and troubleshooting
Operational knowledge of Tools like OTDR, LSPM, Thermography, Anemometer
Intermediate experience on MS Excel & MS word
Well versed with ITSM Framework for Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management
Hands on experience on any of ITSM Tool like HPSM, Service Now, BMC, Solar wind etc)
Job Responsibilities
1. Experience in dealing with Data Centre and IT operational environment
2. Experience of working in a highly robust & dynamic technology environment
3. Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment and possess very good communications skills.
4. Vendor management and Coordination skills
5. Rack mounting, Commissioning / Decommission/Scrapping of IT hardware
6. Data centre structured cabling and troubleshooting
7. Manage day to day operations using the DCIM tools & Preventive checks, Temp, Cooling, Safety / Security & maintain Hygiene
8. Work with IMSG to manage Electrical / UPS, HVAC and other Data Centre performance parameters are monitored and tracked
9. Plan and co-ordinate Maintenance / other support activities (UPS / electrical etc.)
10. Compile, maintain and share daily, monthly MIS , performance reports and metrics with various stakeholders, on regular interval
11. Certifications preferable but not mandatory – ITIL, CDCP, CDCS, other IT infra professional certifications
12. Proven understanding of Data Centre Best practices and TIA-942 /Uptime and other standards
13. Exposure and understanding of 2 or more of the IT Infra technologies –
o LAN / WAN Technologies
o Operating Systems: Basic Knowledge of Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows
o Databases: Basic Knowledge of DB
o Storage: Basic Knowledge SAN and NAS technologies
o Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP
o Microsoft Technologies: Basic Knowledge of Active Directory and MS Exchange
• Tools: MS Office, SharePoint, Confluence

1. Must work well in team environment with high individual productivity with a can-do attitude.
2. Flexibility to work with teams that operate in 24 X 7 shifts
3. Data Centre – Passive infrastructure, knowledge on Cooling / Containment, Electrical, Air purification, firefighting etc.
4. Proven understanding and experience of Data Centre Cabling and labelling standards
5. Expertise in Rack Mounting of Servers, Storage, Network equipment and other hardware
6. Manage partners/outsourcing vendors efficiently so that the outsourced resources are of high quality and well utilized.
7. Introduce new processes/systems and/or redefine existing processes to align with changing business/technology needs.
Notice Period – Only Immediate to 45 days
Candidate should be okay for Mumbai-Panvel / Jaipur-Mahindra SEZ (work from office daily). This is a 24*7 Rotational Shift.
