Monitor and ensure preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements as per the Indian GAAP and SEBI requirement for publication. Oversee compliance with the prescribed Accounting Standards in recognition & measurement of financial transactions and preparation and disclosure of Financial Statements. Monitor EBITDA reports generated on a regular basis and incorporate updates/ resolve deviations as per requirement. Understand accounting impact of any new financial transactions and monitor for correct implementation. Scrutinize accounting transactions at regular intervals and take corrective actions. Monitor the variability of external factors (exchange rates) in order to determine its impact on valuation of inventory and ensure statutory compliance. Prepare working capital plan on a monthly basis Analyze variance in actual vis-à-vis projected cash flow in order to assess cash collection and inventory levels. Interact with Corporate Treasury to ensure alignment of Cash flow as per the projection. Manage working capital to ensure adequate liquidity and financial health of the organization and availability of funds to meet various short term commitments on a continuous basis. Coordinate with procurement team to analyze/evaluate product mix in order to ensure fulfillment of requirement and maximization of revenue. Ensure compliance with indirect tax guidelines and standards such as Gujarat VAT, GST, etc. Ensure compliance with Internal Financial Control (IFC) as well as laws such as Employees Compensation Act, Factories Act, prior to initiation of payment for purchase accounts. Liaise with Tax authorities in order to negotiate on the demands put forth in light of various judgments. Ensure compliance with process controls in all financial processes from accounting to payroll for statutory audits; liaise with auditors for action planning and closure on audit observations if any. Develop and implement new systems to align processes as per the changing external scenario and statutes. Ensure optimal evaluation of insurance premium by interacting with insurance agents. Ensure analysis of Accounts Receivable and undertake corrective measures in case of deviation. To plan, manage, monitor, guide and review the functioning of total stores materials & contracts management, system consisting of plant operations, plant shutdown and project procurement, stores management, Stores inventory management, scrap management, customs and licensing and in- bound management in line with the business requirement and company objectives with a view to optimize cost, quality and delivery within the targeted budget while adhering to statutory & safety compliances to meet the customers’ and suppliers’ expectations.
