Job Description

The Lead, Client Business operations plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of the sales processes for Epsilon’s Retail Media business. This position is responsible for managing Salesforce opportunities, conducting client onboarding integrity checks, and performing gate checks to support invoicing during the early stages of the opportunity lifecycle, overseeing billing processes, and driving process improvements for efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Opportunity Management

Oversee the management and integrity of sales opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date. Lead and mentor the team in tracking and monitoring the progress of opportunities. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or compliance issues within the Salesforce system.

Client Onboarding Integrity Checks

Conduct and supervise thorough integrity checks on new clients during the onboarding process. Verify client information and documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. Liaise with the stakeholders to address any identified issues.

Gate Checks for Invoicing Support

Perform and oversee gate checks at critical stages of the opportunity lifecycle to support accurate and timely invoicing. Ensure all required documentation and approvals are in place before progressing opportunities to the next stage. Collaborate with the stakeholders to resolve any issues that could impact invoicing.

Billing Responsibilities:

Oversee the billing processes to ensure accurate and timely billing of clients. Coordinate with the finance and account teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues. Ensure that all billing activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Implement and maintain billing procedures and guidelines to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Compliance Monitoring and Reporting

Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the sales process. Prepare and present regular reports on compliance activities and findings to senior management. Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.

Process Improvements and Efficiency

Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality Checks and Assurance

Establish and maintain quality check procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of compliance activities. Conduct regular audits and reviews of compliance processes to ensure adherence to standards. Address and resolve any quality issues or deviations promptly.

Leadership and People Management

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of associates. Lead the development and delivery of training and support to teams on compliance-related matters. Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting professional growth and development. Coordinate team activities and projects, ensuring timely and effective completion.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business or Finance. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a compliance, sales operations, or related role, including at least 2 years in a leadership position. Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its application in sales opportunity management. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. Proven leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the Retail Media sector. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Familiarity with client onboarding processes and documentation.
