Job Description

Designation: Sourcing – Private Label

Shift: 9 AM to 5.30 PM

Work Week: 6 days with Sunday off.

Location: Delhi

Experience: 3 to 7 Years

Qualification: Min Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Food Technology or B.Tech in Mechanical, Instrumentation Technology or M.Pharm

Industry / Sector: Companies who have private label brands with third party manufacturing setup. Cosmetics, Health & Wellness, Supplements, Nutritional Drinks, Baby Care, Women Care, Personal Care, Ayurveda, Health Devices, Home Essentials

Roles & Responsibilities:

New Product Development (NPD)

·        Market Diligence

·        Study of formulation

·        Vendor Search, factory visits

·        Arranging costing records

·        Arranging packaging references

·        Assist in regulatory diligence

·        Product placement planning

·        Promotional planning

Inventory Management:

·        Order planning for quarterly supplies

·        Weekly product movement analysis

·        Vendor co-ordination for inspections and dispatches

Production Management

·        Vendor Agreements

·        Production planning

·        Batch compliance and diligence, Test reports

·        Coordination with Quality team

·        Taxation, Transport and Costing

Customer Service

·        Continuous market visits and mapping of competing products

·        Product diligence

·        Efficacy Trials/ Customer Experience Diligence

·        Customer Feedback Management/ Solving queries

·        Cost saving for improving margins and affordability.

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

Good knowledge of food products and regulation, risk management for food category, experience of managing compliance in high risk environment.
