Job Summary 

As the Network Administrator II, you will oversee the installation, configuration, and upkeep of company's network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation for both internal operations and external clients. Your responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting network equipment, as well as participating in project planning and execution. You'll define project requirements, assess costs and benefits, and manage tasks to completion. Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive support to employees at all levels as needed. Train and equip helpdesk personnel with troubleshooting procedures for addressing initial network issues. Offer rotational off-hours support, conducting maintenance, and implementing upgrades. Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve complex IT-related issues. Monitor and maintain networks across all datacenter locations to ensure uninterrupted operation. Utilize and Create automation tools to streamline network management processes and enhance efficiency. Installation of networking equipment to enable new functionalities for company’s products and systems. Perform regular maintenance on networking devices to sustain high uptime. Conduct and manage network configuration backups effectively. Identify and track milestones and tasks essential for the completion of large, complex projects. Uphold and enforce security policies to safeguard company assets. Conduct maintenance on datacenter air conditioning (AC) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. Collaborate on projects in both team and individual capacities. Prioritize, monitor progress, and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Organize IT-related documentation and pertinent materials. Provide regular updates to management regarding project statuses. Perform daily health checks on critical networking components. Evaluate emerging technologies and products to assess their potential benefits for the company. Qualifications: Strong core Networking knowledge and problem solving skills. Strong network security skills. Strong understanding of IAC (Infrastructure as Code) toolsets Strong understanding of AWS Networking Strong understanding of advanced routing protocols Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical employees. Ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks with deadlines. Strong communication skills.

Education and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience At least three years of similar work experience Solid understanding of ITIL concepts Ability to keep documentation/files and other items organized Strong network hardware skills including firewalls, routers, and switches Advanced routing knowledge (BGP, OSPF) Advanced network protocol knowledge (VLANs, STP, REP) AWS networking understanding (VPC, Subnets, transit gateways, direct connects) Understanding of Network Automation Ideal (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins) HIPAA Awareness and compliance Understanding of DevOps mindset

Preferred:

Experience with HP, Cisco, AWS and VMWare is preferred.
