A Google Cloud Engineer at our organization will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing applications and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 of experience in cloud engineering and should be able to leverage GCP tools and services to provide innovative cloud solutions to our clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Designing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform.  Implementing best practices for cloud security and data protection.  Managing cloud-based resources, including serverless and microservices architectures. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Automating cloud-based workflows and routine tasks.  Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure.  Conducting training sessions and workshops on cloud technology.  Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certified Google Cloud Professional or equivalent experience.  Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform and associated technologies. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering.  Strong understanding of cloud architecture and Google Cloud best practices. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools (CI/CD).  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

Preferred Skills & Experience: 

Experience with Big Data technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization.  Knowledge of network protocols, DNS, VPN, Firewall, and load balancing. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.  Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Education: 

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
