Procurement Specialist

Responsible fortactical procurement of good / services (Indirect Procurement).Major categories include Facilities IT HR & CorporateCommunications.
Manages the work by aligning withWalMarts ethics policies guidelines and internalcontrols.
Identifying and developing vendor source forachieving cost effective purchases and procurement of materials /services within stipulated time frame.
Trigger healthycompetition among vendors and negotiated best commercial termsmeeting business requirement and as per company policies andprocedures.
Participate in variety of meetings and workgroups to integrate activities communicate issues obtain approvalsand resolve problems.
Participate in price negotiationssupply chain strategies as necessary and provide operational inputsthat enable decisionmaking.
Process &Compliance
Maintain & Publish ApprovedVendor List.
Responsible to maintain all documentationrelated to Vendor Contracts and renewals.
Maintain andpublish contract renewal tracker.
Support in maintainingand updating procurement tools with accurate data and adherence toprocurement policies & guidelines.
DataAnalytics & MIS
Responsible to workclosely with key stakeholders from Business Procurement &Finance teams to gather requirements & right data forprocurement analytics.
Develop procurement analyticsKPIs dashboards (spend contract savings operational etc)
Build key insights and identify savings opportunities based onprocurement spend / contract / operational data.
Performdata cleansing categorization normalization of suppliers and dataenrichment to develop clean data for analysis

Your Qualification: 68 Years of experience in technologyprocurement sourcing and contract management.
Universitydegree preferably in Business Administration Engineering or arelated field.
Some understanding of the ecommerceindustry and/or the category/commodity.
Some knowledgeof actively managing commodity/category and implementing variousstrategies to address objectives like savings speed to business anddriving innovation
Advanced working knowledge in dataanalysis building simulated worksheets and performing sensitivityanalysis
Basic understanding of interpreting financialstatements
