OverviewThe SAP Salesand Distribution (SD) Consultant plays a key role in implementingand supporting the SAP SD module. This role is crucial in ensuringthat the organizations sales and distribution processes are alignedwith SAP best practices leading to efficient operations andimproved customer satisfaction.KeyResponsibilities
  • Collaborate withbusiness users to gather and documentrequirements
  • Configure the SAP SD module tomeet business needs
  • Provide ongoing support andtroubleshooting for SAP SD processes andissues
  • Participate in endtoend implementationprojects from design to postgolivesupport
  • Conduct user training and createdocumentation for SAP SD processes
  • Performsystem testing and coordinate with stakeholders for user acceptancetesting
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsto integrate SAP SD with other modules
  • Optimizeand enhance existing SAP SDfunctionalities
  • Stay updated on SAP SD bestpractices and incorporate industrytrends
  • Participate in presales activities andprovide expertise on SAP SDcapabilities
  • Support the continuous improvementof sales and distribution processes throughSAP
  • Assist in defining business strategies andsolutions leveraging SAP SD
  • Assess businessimpacts and recommend SD systemenhancements
  • Participate in global rollouts andprovide local support for SAP SD
  • Ensurecompliance with governance and regulatory requirements in SAP SDprocesses
RequiredQualifications
  • Bachelors degree inInformation Technology Business Administration or relatedfield
  • Proven experience as an SAP SD Consultantor similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of SAP SDconfiguration and customization
  • Proficiency inbusiness process analysis andredesign
  • Experience with SAP SD integrationwith other SAP modules such as MM FI/CO
  • Strongunderstanding of sales processes and bestpractices
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in aglobal and multicultural environment
  • Strongproblemsolving and analyticalabilities
  • Certification in SAP SD is aplus
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multipletasks simultaneously
  • Proven experience inproject management and implementationmethodologies
  • Knowledge of industryspecificsales and distribution processes isadvantageous
  • Experience in guiding andmentoring junior team members
  • Understanding ofreporting tools and analytics within SAPSD
