Job Overview

Realty Avenue is seeking a Junior Front Desk Receptionist for our Gurgaon office. This full-time role requires 1 to 3 years of work experience. The receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Public Speaking (Mandatory skill): Experience in addressing groups and speaking clearly to ensure information is conveyed effectively.
  • Communication (Mandatory skill): Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members efficiently.
  • Confidence (Mandatory skill): A confident demeanor to greet clients and visitors, making them feel welcomed and valued.
  • Interviewing: Ability to conduct preliminary interviews and assessments for guests visiting for business purposes.
  • Research: Capable of performing basic research to answer inquiries and provide accurate information about the company.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to manage various tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and providing effective solutions promptly.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage time to handle the front desk operations effectively and prioritize tasks as needed.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the office, directing them appropriately.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to the relevant department or team member.
  • Maintain office security by adhering to safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for conference rooms and meeting spaces.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials in place, such as brochures and forms.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, handling inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents as required.
