We are looking for a Senior Java Developer for one of our Bay Area clients who is into Workload Automation and software solutions for businesses.  

We are looking for a prominent resource who can independently design moderate to complex modules with solid code quality. 

Role: Sr Java DeveloperTotal Experience: 7+yearsRelevant Experience: 5+yearsTechnical Skills: Java, Core Java,Spring Frameworks

 

Required Skills:


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment 
  • Proficient in developing new software as well as debugging and enhancing existing software components 
  • Proficient in Java development 
  • Experience working with Spring Framework (Boot, Reactive, Integration, etc.) 
  • Experience working with Gradle 
  • Experience working on the Microsoft Windows platform 
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting 
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and IP networking concepts, particularly HTTP(S) and Web Sockets 

  

Bonus Skills: 


  • Experience in development for Non-Windows operating systems (UNIX/Linux) 
  • Experience in developing distributed applications 
  • Ability to develop in web-based technologies such as JavaScript, Ext JS, MVC 
  • Experience with Web Services (SOAP/WSDL or REST) 
  • Experience using IDE software such as Visual Studio, VS Code, or Eclipse 
  • Experience in database fundamentals and database platforms including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases 
  • Experience with other scripting languages such as Unix shell, VBS 
  • Experience with or knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices 

  

Responsibilities and Roles:


  • Work as a member of a cross-functional team in an agile development environment on many different projects using leading-edge technologies. 
  • Design and implement new software components to meet business requirements 
  • Maintain and enhance existing software components 
  • Write high-quality and maintainable code 
  • Collaborate with Technical Support to troubleshoot customer issues 
  • Manage code and development tickets in Atlassian Jira and Bitbucket 
  • Contribute to test infrastructure, including writing unit tests and integration tests 
  • Participate and provides feedback on code reviews 
  • Document product changes and new features
