Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio recordings of medical reports and dictations into written documents. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent listening and typing skills, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in medical transcription and be familiar with various medical specialties.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 1 to 3 years of experience in medical transcription.
  • Proficient in typing and data entry.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand various accents and speech patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Transcribe medical reports and dictations accurately and efficiently.
  • Review transcribed documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Use reference materials and medical dictionaries to ensure accurate transcription.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and meet established deadlines.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify information when necessary.
