This is a remote position.

We are seeking a SeniorSoftware Engineer (.NET HTML5 and CSS) to join ourteam.

Responsibilities:
  • Full stackdevelopment of web applications including projects ranging betweendata tiers serverside APIs andfrontend.
  • Solve moderate tocomplex problems with minimal guidance andsupport.
  • Help guide theprogress of projects and tickets through the use of TechDev sproject and task managementsystems.
  • Participate inrelease planning support the success of releasedprojects.
  • Propose architecturaldirections when involved in planningprojects.
  • Ensure documentationand communication needs for projects aresatisfied.
  • Provide researchprototyping and product/library exploration as requested helpingthe TechDev team choose the best fits fortechnology.
  • Production ofautomated testing as needed (including unit tests and endtoendtesting).
  • Monitor the qualityand security of projects with the use of static code analysis toolssuch asSonarCube.
  • Respond totroubleshoot and resolve defects and outages in WLT software. Thisincludes being able to respond to emergencies quickly ifneeded.
  • Mentor and provideguidance to other Developers perform constructive codereviews.
  • Learn continuouslyand stay uptodate with trends technologies and direction in thetechnology industry and help surface. recommendations for Tech Devits processes and itsprojects.
  • Understand anddisplay WLT svalues.
  • Other duties asassigned.


Requirements
  • Ability toproduce responsive and mobilefirst frontends using modern bestpractices andframeworks.
  • Proficiency intechnologies including but not limited to:.NET HTML5 CSS JavaScriptAngular Svelte SQL and nonrelationalDBs.
  • Ability to bepragmatic indecisionmaking
  • Comfort withimplementation and management of packages and libraries to enhancesoftware products (eg. Tailwind PrimeNG andothers).
  • Ability to jugglemultiple priorities and respond dynamically as prioritieschange.
  • Demonstrate a passionfor learning new technologies and stayingcurrent.
  • Strong timemanagement capability ability to estimate project scopes accuratelyand adhere totimelines.
  • Understands the BigPicture and has an entrepreneur way ofthinking.
  • Detailed knowledge ofvarious browser capabilities technologies and good web designpractices.
  • Comfortable botharchitecting and implementing solutions through ateam.
  • Understanding thefundamentals of behind a scalableapplication.
  • Familiar with variousdesign and architecturalpatterns.
  • Fluent with modernDevOpspatterns.
  • Strong communicationand collaborationskills.
  • Ability to uphold WLTvalues.

Experience:

  • 10 years hands onexperience building dynamic web application using:.NET C#JavaScript CSS WebAPIs
  • Experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks such as Angular orSvelte
  • Strong mentoring andinterpersonal skills arerequired
  • Experience with working on anagile developmentteam
  • Good understanding of databasestools and techniques used for object to relational mappingexperience in performance tuning. Experience in technologies suchas Microsoft SQL Server SQL Azure Entity Framework other ORMs andnonrelational datastores.
  • Experience integratingofftheshelf solutions understand build vs. buydecisions
  • Experience with Azure DevOps GITand Visual Studio for task and source code management including CIand GIT branchingstrategies
  • Experience with Microsoft Azureor similar cloudplatforms
  • Proficient in objectorienteddesign and development. Knowledge of common architectural patternsSOLID principals OWASP topten and industry accepted bestpractices.
  • Experience with Educationtechnology and Learning Managements Systems (LMSs) aplus

EducationorCertification:

  • Bachelor s degree incomputer science software development or equivalentexperience.
