JobSummary:

We are seeking a highlyskilled and detailoriented PCB Designer to join our team. The PCBDesigner will be responsible for designing printed circuit boards(PCBs) for various electronic products. The ideal candidate willpossess extensive experience in PCB layout design proficiency inCAD software tools and a strong understanding of electroniccomponents and manufacturingprocesses.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaboratewith engineering teams to understand design requirements andspecifications for PCB layouts.
  • Design anddevelop highquality PCB layouts using CAD software tools ensuringcompliance with industry standards and designguidelines.
  • Perform schematic capture componentplacement and routing of PCBs to meet performance size and costrequirements.
  • Conduct design reviews andcollaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize PCB designs formanufacturability reliability andperformance.
  • Generate fabrication and assemblydocumentation including Gerber files assembly drawings and bill ofmaterials (BOM).
  • Coordinate with PCBfabrication vendors and assembly partners to ensure timely andcosteffective production of PCB prototypes and productionruns.
  • Conduct design validation and testing ofPCB prototypes troubleshoot issues and implement designimprovements as needed.
  • Stay uptodate withadvancements in PCB design technologies tools and methodologies tocontinuously improve design processes andpractices.
  • Adhere to company policies qualitystandards and regulatory requirements throughout the design anddevelopmentprocess.


Requirements:


  • Bachelorsdegree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering orrelated field.
  • Proven experience (2 years) as aPCB Designer or similar role in the electronicsindustry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software toolssuch as Altium Designer OrCAD Allegro orKiCad.
  • Strong understanding of PCB layoutdesign principles signal integrity and EMC/EMIconsiderations.
  • Knowledge of electroniccomponents circuit design principles and manufacturingprocesses.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills andattention to detail in identifying and resolving designissues.
  • Ability to work independently andmanage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Familiarity with industrystandards and regulations governing PCB design and manufacturing(e.g. IPC standards).
  • Experience with PCBfabrication and assembly processes including DFM/DFT considerationsis a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of impedancematching signal integrity and powerintegrity.
