Job Summary:
As a MicrosoftDynamics Functional Consultant you will be responsible for workingwith clients to gather business requirements analyze businessprocesses and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meetclient needs. You will play a key role in bridging the gap betweenthe technical development team and the business stakeholdersensuring that the solution is aligned with the business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis andRequirements Gathering:
Collaborate with clients togather and analyze business requirements ensuring a deepunderstanding of their processes and needs.
Conductworkshops meetings and interviews with business stakeholders toidentify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications forthe development team.
Solution Design and Configuration:
Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions(e.g. Sales Customer Service Finance Supply Chain) based onbusiness requirements.
Customize Dynamics 365 to meetclientspecific business needs including workflows forms reports anddashboards.
Work with the development team to definecustomizations and integrations where necessary.
Implementation and Testing:
Lead andparticipate in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365solutions ensuring they align with business processes.
Conduct system testing including unit testing and user acceptancetesting (UAT) to validate that the solution meets the functionalrequirements.
Provide postimplementation support andtraining to endusers to ensure smooth adoption of the solution.
Process Optimization and Best Practices:
Recommend process improvements and best practices to clientshelping them optimize their use of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Stay updated on the latest features and updates inMicrosoft Dynamics 365 and recommend new functionalities that couldbenefit the client s operations.
Documentation andTraining:
Create comprehensive documentation includingfunctional specifications process flows and user manuals.
Provide enduser training and support helping clientsadopt the solution and maximize its value.
Serve as theprimary point of contact for functional and business processissues.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor sdegree in Business Information Systems or a related field.
Experience:
o 4 years of experience as aFunctional Consultant working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 orsimilar ERP/CRM systems.
o Proven experience inimplementing and configuring one or more Microsoft Dynamics 365modules (e.g. Finance Sales Supply Chain Customer Service etc.).
o Strong understanding of business processes in areassuch as sales marketing finance and operations.
Skillsand Competencies:
Functional Expertise:
oIndepth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules and the abilityto configure them based on business needs.
o Strongunderstanding of business processes and how they relate to Dynamics365 with the ability to map these processes to systemfunctionality.
Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills:
o Strong analytical skills with the ability totroubleshoot issues and suggest solutions that align with businessgoals.
o Ability to identify process improvements andrecommend solutions to optimize business performance.
Communication and Collaboration:
o Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills with the ability to interacteffectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
o Ability to lead client workshops presentations andtraining sessions.
o Strong interpersonal skills tocollaborate with clients developers and project teams.
Project Management and Documentation:
o Experience inmanaging the functional aspects of Dynamics 365 projects fromrequirements gathering to golive.
o Strong documentationskills including the ability to create clear and concise functionalspecifications and user guides.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals orrelevant certification in specific modules (e.g. Finance SalesSupply Chain).
Experience with Power Platform tools(Power Apps Power Automate Power BI) and integrating them withDynamics 365.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies andtools such as Jira Azure DevOps for managing functional tasks andrequirements.
