Job Profile:

Code based Design of Equipment by Manual calculation and AutoPipe software. Mechanical System Concept Desgin and basic calculation with Free Body Diagram. Finite Element Analysis of Equipments and Systems. Compilation of Design Reports for Equipment and System Design 3D Cad Modelling and Detailed Engineering in UG-NX & CATIA V-5 Preparation of BoM, Item ID Creation in PLM. Design Co-ordination with external agencies (Govt. Customers/ Vendors/ TPI etc.)

Competency Required:

High Proficiency in fundamental hand calculations and free body diagrams for complex systems. Knowledge of Strength of Materials  High Proficiency in ASME Code Based Mechanical Design of Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers Awareness of other International Design Codes & Standards Familiarity with TEMA/ HTRI/ Thermal Design Methods & Processes for Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Chillers, Immersion Heater etc.  Proficiency in Design of Process Pipelines based on ASME/ other international codes. Understanding Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Methods and capability to identify & finalize Load cases, Boundary Conditions, Report Evaluation, Mitigation of observations etc.  Understanding Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Methods and capability to identify & finalize Boundary Conditions, Report Evaluation, Mitigation of observations etc.  High Proficiency on Solid Modelling in UG-NX & CATIA V5. Proficiency in Detailed Engineering of complex system in 3D platforms and hands-on preparation of detailed manufacturing drawings with Bill of Materials (BoM). Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
