Asa Fire Sprinkler Estimator you will play a crucial rolein analyzing project requirements conducting site assessments andproviding accurate cost estimates for fire sprinkler systeminstallations. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of projectspecifications blueprints and site conditions to determine thescope and requirements for fire sprinkler systems.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates consideringmaterials labor equipment and other projectrelatedexpenses.
  • Work closely with project managersengineers and clients to understand their needs provide technicalexpertise and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare and submit competitive and compelling bids forfire sprinkler system installations ensuring adherence toregulatory standards and local building codes.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated withprojects proposing effective solutions to mitigate issues andenhance project success.
  • Collaborate withsuppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materialsand equipment negotiating favorable terms to optimize projectbudgets.
  • Maintain accurate and organizedrecords of project estimates bids and relevant communications tosupport project tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Extensive expertise in the design hydrauliccalculations installation and upkeep of fire protection systemsparticularly wet and dry fire sprinklersystems
  • Indepth knowledgeof relevant codes and standards (NFPA state and local buildingcodes AHJ etc.).
  • NICET Certificationis preferred
  • Indepth knowledge offire sprinkler systems NFPA standards and local buildingcodes.
  • Proficiency in reading andinterpreting construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precisecost estimation.
  • Excellent communication andnegotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with projectmanagement software and estimation tools.
  • Possession of a valid drivers license with an acceptabledriving record.
