Description:Weare seeking a Software Engineer with a strong Linux administrationbackground particularly focused on building custom supportdeveloping custom images and integrating addon boards for RaspberryPi devices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding ofLinux operating systems opensource software development andhardware integration.As a Software Engineerwith Linux administration experience you will be responsible fordesigning and implementing software solutions for Raspberry Pidevices with a focus on custom support and integration. You willwork closely with crossfunctional teams to gather requirementsdesign architectures and develop innovative solutions that meet theneeds of ourcustomers.Responsibilities:Design software solutions for Raspberry Pi devices including customsupport and integration of addon boards.Develop custom images and configurations for Raspberry Pi devicesoptimizing performance and functionality.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teamsensuring best practices and architecturalconsistency. Conduct code reviews andprovide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence toarchitectural standards. Troubleshoot andresolve software and hardware issues working closely with supportteams and customers. Stay current withemerging technologies industry trends and best practices in Linuxadministration and Raspberry Pi development.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritizesoftware improvement opportunities.Participate in the development and maintenance of technicaldocumentation and user guides.RequiredQualifications: Expert knowledge workingwith raspberry pis or like devicesUndergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalentexperience (8 years) building and shipping production readysoftware in an enterprise environment 3years of problem solving and debugging in a complexenvironment 3 years of experience withmodern programming languages such as Java Python Go or Node.js andrelated frameworks 2 years of experienceimplementing containerized and scalable software based onmicroservices APIs and microproductarchitecture 2 years of experience within UIbased technologies (React ReactNative etc.)2 years of experience with a variety of modern opensourcetechnologies (Kafka AVRO Prometheus ELKKubernetes) 2 years of experience withcontainer platforms and deployments 2 yearsof experience with a variety of modern databasetechnologies 2 years of experience withContinuous Integration DevOps and DeploymentStrategies 1 years of experience with publiccloud platforms and NoSQL ImplementationsPreferredQualifications: Experience with cloudplatforms Experience in incremental Agiledelivery practices Experience with Githuband Git version control Experience with avariety of security mechanisms and certifications such as SAMLOauth SSO HITRUST FedRAMP etc.) Experiencewith embedded Linux systems and realtime operating systems(RTOS) Familiarity with opensource softwaredevelopment tools and frameworks Knowledgeof networking protocols and technologiesExperience with version control systems such asGit Familiarity with containerizationtechnologies such as Docker Understanding ofhardware design principles and electroniccomponents
