Overview:The SeniorAndroid Developer plays a crucial role in our organizationresponsible for leading the development and maintenance ofcuttingedge Android applications. They will work closely withcrossfunctional teams to design develop and maintain highqualitymobile applications that meet the needs of our users andbusiness.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Lead thedevelopment of Android applications from concept tolaunch.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsto define design and ship new features.
  • Ensurethe performance quality and responsiveness ofapplications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecksand fix bugs
  • Design and build advancedapplications for the Androidplatform.
  • Collaborate with backend services tobuild and integrate with APIs.
  • Unittest codefor robustness including edge cases usability and generalreliability.
  • Work on bug fixing and improvingapplication performance.
  • Continuously discoverevaluate and implement new technologies to maximize developmentefficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews assist withtroubleshooting and resolve issues in production and nonproductionenvironments.
  • Participate in Agile ceremoniesand contribute to the continuous improvement of the developmentprocess.
  • Keep up to date on the latest industrytrends in the mobile technologies.
  • Contributeto improving the teams technical development processes andtools.
  • Coach and mentor junior team membersproviding technical guidance andsupport.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or relatedfield.
  • 5 years of experience in Androiddevelopment.
  • Expertise in Java and Kotlinprogramming languages.
  • Proven track record ofdeveloping and deploying highquality Android applications to theGoogle Play Store.
  • Strong understanding ofUI/UX design principles and bestpractices.
  • Experience with API integrationoffline storage threading and performancetuning.
  • Proficiency in debugging andperformance optimization.
  • Experience with unittesting and automation.
  • Familiarity with Agiledevelopment methodologies.
  • Excellentproblemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strongcommunication and teamwork abilities.
  • Abilityto adapt to new technologies and learnquickly.
  • Solid understanding of version controlsystems such as Git.
  • Experience with continuousintegration and deployment tools is aplus.
  • Previous experience in mentoring juniorteam members isdesirable.
