About the job
The ProductManager works on product offerings in our Strategic Asset Management portfolioof solutions and is responsible for working on our core product in the facilityinfrastructure market, Origin. Product Managers at Brightly work withstakeholders across the business and clients to drive topline bookings of theproduct as supported by the product roadmap.
Brightly’scapital planning and asset lifecycle optimization solutions help our clientscompare and contrast funding options for their capital planning projects acrossmultiple asset classes – helping clients maximize the impact of their budgetswhile supporting the communities they serve. Our mission is to help our clientsbuild better, sustainable environments for the citizens, patients, students,and constituents that they serve. Whatyou’ll be doing
Serve in the role of Product Manager in an agile developmentenvironment, including developing and maintaining a robust backlog writing andrefining user stories Translate product roadmap features intowell-defined product requirements, including features, user stories, andacceptance test criteria Responsible for communicating prioritiesand goals at the beginning of each sprint in accordance with release goals,roadmap, and associated timelines/dependencies Become a subject matter expert inrelevant product domains, and develop an understanding of target markets andusers, to guide product decisions Develop Business and Market Requirementdocuments, and work with your peers to translate these requirements to informthe roadmap and execution plan. Serve as the champion of the customerexperience and partner with UX/design, product counterparts, and professionalServices to deliver delightful user experiences across all customer touchpoints Establish and foster key relationshipswith clients, & domain experts to leverage in meeting market needsWhat you’ll need
Qualifications & Experience
2-3 Years of experience as product manager. Experienced at developing user stories and acceptance criteria andcommunicating business value to the engineering team. Strong evidence of working with engineering on communicating commitmentsand delivering results Experience in Agile processes and principles Superb communication skills for both oral and writtencommunication; ability to communicate confidently across all levels in the organization. Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data to supportdecision making. Experience working with and influencing product development teamsand driving them toward a common customer and business vision all the waythrough to delivery. Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or otheranalytical or business acumen-based field Knowledge of finance, investment, and asset management is beneficial.Behavioural Competencies
