Job Overview


We are hiring a Cashier for our client Gamut HR Solutions at the Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience as a Cashier. The primary responsibilities of the Cashier will include petty cash handling, cashiering, and providing customer service.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management processes
  • Basic computer skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Handle petty cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer transactions
  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and refund guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers
