The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years ofexperience in ETL tools such as AWS Glue Azure Data FactoryFivetran Talend Pentaho and others. They shouldpossess a strong command of SQL including query performance tuningand index management as well as a solid understanding of databasestructures and data modelingconcepts.In this role theData Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for building andmaintaining data warehouses for our clients. They will designautomate and support complex data extraction transformation andloading (ETL) applications.Required Skills andResponsibilities:
  • Minimum3 years of experience in ETL tools such as SSIS Informatica TalendPentaho Datastage Azure Datafactory.
  • Very good SQL knowledgeincluding query performance tuning index managementetc.
  • Proficient in data modelingconcepts.
  • Familiarity with various SQL/NoSQLdata storage techniques and Big Datatechnologies.
  • Certified in anyETL tool or cloud dataengineering.
DesiredSkills:
  • Experiencewith Linux operatingsystems.
  • Good codingskills (Python and any other programminglanguage).
  • Knowledge ofSpark.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and abilityto troubleshoot datarelated issues in a distributed computeenvironment (whether onprem or oncloud)
  • Excellent communication and teamworkabilities.
  • Ability to work independently andhandle multiple taskssimultaneously.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Builddata warehouse and ETL pipelines for our customers utilizingvarious data warehousing ideas.
  • Design automateand support sophisticated data extraction transformation andloading applications.
Qualifications:Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.Masters degree preferred.Benefits
