- Designand deploy Active Directory forests
- Plan forand perform the consolidation of ADforests
- Plan for an enable coexistencescenarios between forests
- Use tools like QuestMigration Manager and Active Directory Migration Toolkit to migrateusers groups and computer objects betweenforests
- User PowerShell and other automationtools to automate as much of your work aspossible
- Customize Azure AD Connect directorysynchronization to accommodate mutliforest and forest consolidationscenarios
- Identify and resolve AD health issueswhich may impact migrations
- Plan for andperform forest and functionalupgrades
- Integrate with teams supporting ADdependent applications onpremises and in thecloud
Skillset
- Experiencein Active Directory migration AD design andplanning
- Midtoexpert level experience in ActiveDirectory Domain Services 2012R orhigher
- Knowledge and experience working withAzure AD including directory synchronizationtechnologies
- Core Knowledge of Quest MigrationManager ADMT and similar tools for ADmigration
- Solid grasp of networking conceptsincluding TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VPNtechnologies.
