Drools Developer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Rule Engine Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing rule-based systems and decision engines to automate business processes and improve efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Design and develop rule-based systems and decision engines using industry-standard tools and technologies.
·        Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business rules into technical specifications.
·        Implement and configure rule-based systems to automate decision-making processes across various business domains.
·        Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the accuracy and reliability of rule-based systems.
·        Provide technical support and troubleshooting for rule engine-related issues.
·        Document design specifications, configurations, and technical processes.
·        Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in rule engine development and apply them to enhance existing systems.

 

Requirements·        BTech/MTech/MCA Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
·        Proven experience in developing rule-based systems and decision engines.
·        Proficiency in rule engine technologies such as Drools, Jess, or IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
·        Strong understanding of rule-based programming paradigms and business rule management systems (BRMS).
·        Experience with Java/J2EE development and object-oriented programming concepts.
·        Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·        Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
