PositionSummary:AsaSeniorElectronic DesignEngineeryou will be instrumental in leading the design and development ofsophisticated embedded systems for our smart kitchen solutions.This role requires a dynamic blend of technical prowess andleadership to ensure our products not only meet but exceed theinnovative and quality standards Futuristic Labs is knownfor.


KeyResponsibilities:

  • Leadthe electronic design initiatives for our existing and forthcomingproducts focusing on our key products Semi andRiku.
  • Collaborateextensively with firmware engineers and crossfunctional teams toensure hardware and software integration is optimized forperformance.
  • Implementcosteffective design and production strategies to adhere tobudgetary and performancespecifications.
  • Upholdand advocate for industry best practices in electronic designfocusing on manufacturability reliability and ease ofmaintenance.
  • Managethe complete hardware verification and validation lifecycleensuring all products comply with necessary safety and regulatorystandards.
  • Directall aspects of certification and compliance related to consumerelectronics.
  • Continuouslyupdate team knowledge regarding new industry trends technologiesand components relevant to embedded systemsdesign.
  • Providementorship and technical leadership to junior engineers fosteringan environment of growth andinnovation.


Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or relatedfield with at least 5 years of experience in electronic design forconsumerelectronics.
  • Demonstratedability to lead electronic design projects from concept through tomassproduction.
  • Profoundknowledge of electronic design principles including circuit designPCB layout and signalintegrity.
  • Expertisein costreduction practices for massproduction.
  • Familiaritywith regulatory standards and compliance requirements in consumerelectronics (e.g. FCC CEUL).
  • Exceptionalproblemsolving analytical and technical troubleshootingskills.
  • Stronginterpersonal communication and leadershipcapabilities.
  • Abilityto manage multiple projects simultaneously and work bothindependently and as part of ateam.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Experiencein designing complex electronic products similar toRiku.
  • Proficiencyin using industryleading electronic design software such as AltiumDesigner orKiCad.
  • Knowledgein Design for Manufacturing (DFM) approaches and bestpractices.

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ora related field. 5+ years of demonstrated experience in EmbeddedLinux development, with a strong background in AOSP, Linux, andFreeRTOS. Proficient in programming languages, particularly C andPython. In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel architecture, devicedrivers, and user space programming. Experience with embeddeddevelopment tools and frameworks (e.g., Yocto Project, Buildroot).Proven track record in the consumer electronics sector, withknowledge of compliance standards and successful product launches.A problem-solver with excellent collaboration skills, capable ofleading projects from concept to market launch. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
