Position:Oracle Apps DBA Location: Indore/Pune/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad Duration:Full Time Work Type: Onsite Job Description:
  • Oracle Apps DBA is required tosupport Production/ Stage/ Development Oracle EBS in a 24*7 shiftsupport model.
  • The Oracle APPS DBA will beresponsible for the installation configuration upgradingadministrating monitoring troubleshooting cloning Patching Backupand restoration of Oracle EBS. Would be responsible for reviewingapplications/databases identifying performance bottlenecks andfixing them along with daily production health checks.
  • Performing Daily health checks for a productionenvironment identifying the performance bottlenecks and working onfixing them.
  • Perform regular DBA supportusing tools like Serena or ServiceNow.
  • Providing technical inputs towards maintaining a largecomplex production environment.
  • PerformCapacity planning for instances and growth.
  • Good knowledge of the latest versions of Oracledatabase/E Business suite architecture and components (19c 12c 12.2EBS etc.)
  • Knowledge of Oracle security basicsand experience in working with ISO and Auditing.
  • Expert in RAC ASM and WebLogic Administration.
  • Experience in all routine DBA tasks includinghealth checks troubleshooting issues and installations.
  • Good knowledge of PLSQL and SQL
  • Knowledge of traces tkprof and finding poorly performingSQL.sql profiling rewrite poorly performing SQL.
  • Knowledge of Load balancing PCP Configurators JVMsarchiving and purging tools like HP Archiving
  • SOA gateway kanban knowledge is added on.
  • Knowledge of Oracle database wait for events Database andApplication parameters
  • Ability to finetuneconcurrent processing in a large EBS environment.
  • Good knowledge of OEM.
  • Installupgrade patch and administer the EBusiness application anddatabase.
  • Experience with Oracle data guard.
  • Experience in RMAN backup & restoreactivities
  • Knowledge of OS parameters andsettings UNIX shell scripting
  • Performing (DBApplication) Patch Analysis & Applying Patches.
EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 to 8 years of Oracle Apps DBAExperience

  • Willingnessto work 24*7 shifts.
