Position: NC Programmer (VG) Location: Fort Worth TX 76118 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite Job Summary: Must have effective design of manufacturing resourcesincluding:
  • Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) numericalcontrolled (NC) programs Manufacturing Computer Aided Design (MCAD)tools/fixtures loft patterns and operational models with associated2D drawings.
  • Musthave knowledge of shop production and processing operations
  • Must be able toInterrogate analyze comprehend and interpret various EngineeringDrawings Models Bills of Materials Technical Specifications QualityDocuments Bell Process Framework and departmental procedures asnecessary to perform assigned work.
  • Must have Working knowledge of NC ProgrammingLoft Engineering Tool Design Manufacturing and Planning processesand procedures.
  • Mustbe skilled in the concept related to the application ofGD&T/Aerospace tolerances Supports producibility assessmentswhen requested.
  • Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings formanufacturing process planning sequences as required.
  • Provides process liaison supportfor manufacturing operations when MCAD models with 2D drawingsexist as required.
  • Develops Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixturedefinition for manufacturing operations for all media typesincluding MCAD and manual legacy designs. Executes creation andmaintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for NumericalControlled equipment.
  • Responsible for developing creating and maintaining LoftMCAD models flat patterns and associated digital tooling programs.
  • Maintains recordsand schedules of work assigned. Will meet established company costcontrol standards schedule and quality requirements to maintainmarket competitiveness.
  • Provide technical assistance to procurement andsuppliers as determined by management.
  • Execute strong communication skills bothverbal and written required to communicate and interact betweeninternal and external customers.
  • Apply extensive aircraft manufacturingknowledge and be prepared to train direct instruct andcheck/validate Production Engineering work.
Educational Requirements:
  • Two (2) years college or three (3) years ofexperience in the aircraft industry or completed.
  • Demonstrated capability toadequately perform the essential functions and responsibilitiesrelated to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
