Overview:The JavaSplunk position is essential to our organization as it involvesdeveloping maintaining and supporting Java applications integratedwith Splunk for effective log management and analysis. This roleplays a critical part in ensuring smooth functioning andperformance of our systems through effective utilization of Javaand Splunk tools.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Collaborate withstakeholders to understand requirements and develop Javaapplications integrated with Splunk.
  • Designdevelop and deploy Javabased solutions that leverage thecapabilities of Splunk for log management andanalysis.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot Javaapplications to ensure seamless integration withSplunk.
  • Conduct system analysis to identifypotential areas for improvement and implement necessarychanges.
  • Monitor the performance of Javaapplications and provide proactivemaintenance.
  • Create and maintain technicaldocumentation for JavaSplunk integrationprojects.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to integrate Java applications with Splunk for fullstackvisibility.
  • Participate in code reviewsidentify areas for optimization and implement bestpractices.
  • Provide technical support andtroubleshooting for JavaSplunk issues.
  • Stayupdated with the latest Java and Splunk capabilities to recommendand implement improvements.
RequiredQualifications: Design and development ofspecialized applications dashboards data models and addons usingSplunk SPL SimpleXML (OR Javascript CSS)python Advanced Splunk analytics and thedevelopment of custom Splunk applications creating visuallyappealing and interactive dashboards for data analysis andreporting Splunk data integrations withbusinesscritical enterprise applications andsystems Translating feedback from thebusiness to Splunk technical requirements andsolutions Work in an Agile environment andfollow scrumpractices
Requirements:Splunk Certified Developer Core Certified Consultant experience asa Splunk Dashboard Developer Programmingexperience in Python for data manipulation extraction andautomation tasks Splunk app and addondevelopment data modeling Strong experiencein Splunk development building dashboards(Splunk SimpleXML ORJavaScript CSS) reports and lookup tablesWorking knowledge of Splunk including SPL indexers forwarderssearch heads Experience in agileprocesses Familiarity with largescalesoftware architecture networking and distributed systems andUNIX/Linux environments Exposure to RESTAPIs CI/CD concepts Git Jenkins Gitlab AWS Docker GCP TerraformAnsible
