Job Overview


We are looking for a skilled Electrical Designer to join our team at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for various projects. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in electrical design. The job is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and is a full-time role.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in electrical design
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Design electrical systems and components in compliance with industry standards and project requirements
  • Prepare detailed electrical designs, schematics, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Select and specify electrical equipment, materials, and components for projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and architects, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform calculations to determine system specifications and requirements
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing electrical systems and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in electrical design
