Our aim is to assist those who cannot afford the high costs associated with litigation, enabling them to pursue legal claims that they might not have been able to pursue otherwise. We operate on a non-recourse basis, meaning that if the plaintiff loses the case, they are not required to repay the funding. Instead, we take a share of the damages or settlement awarded if the plaintiff wins the case. Our team of experienced lawyers and business professionals ensure that we adhere to strict ethical standards and provide funding only for cases with a high chance of success.


Job Overview


We are seeking a talented Legal Head to join our team at Lawsuit Ventures. As the Legal Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all legal matters within the company. This includes providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, handling litigations, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will work closely with our team of legal experts to evaluate cases for funding, and provide guidance and support throughout the litigation process. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the legal field.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable institution
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in the legal field
  • Strong knowledge of Indian laws and regulations
  • Experience in handling litigations and legal proceedings
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to provide strategic legal advice to the management team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards

  • Oversee and manage all legal matters within the company
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the management team
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Handle litigations and represent the company in legal proceedings
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Evaluate cases for funding and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with our legal experts to assess the merit of each case
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel
  • Stay updated on legal developments and changes in the industry
