Detailed description:

BT Test Engineer

How You Will Spend Your Days


Review system requirement specifications and work on the Test case preparation with traceability.
• Review the Software requirement and wok on the Test case preparation for the Interface level testing.
• Review test cases written by the peer testers.
• Write automation scripts for the test cases written.
• Need to run Domain testing and approve the build for release.
• Able to collect the logs and mention the scenarios properly in the defect.
• Need to work with development and able to triage the defects to right domain.
• Develop and integrate tools/scripts to automate testing.
• Run development testing and document the test reports.
• Create efficient reports with respect to software testing, scripting, regressions and test builds in which issue found.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field in Computer Science or Electronics.
• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in test software components in BT technology for Linux and Android platforms.
o Good Knowledge in BT features
o Strong in python, Robofit, Java programming skills.
o Proficient in capturing BT sniffer logs, HCI logs and analyzing the same.
o Execution of PTS test case in Launch studio for BT SIG certification
