Job Description
At [High-end Pan Asian Restaurant at Thane ], we strive to provide stellar dining experiences. We are seeking an experienced restaurant manager who can oversee day-to-day operations, hire and train qualified staff members, and maintain high food standards. The restaurant manager will also be responsible for developing a positive brand image through consistent customer service and a strong understanding of restaurant protocol. With professionalism and a positive attitude, they will help contribute to the growth and popularity of our restaurant, as well as the long-term success of our employees.

Objectives of this role
  • Oversee restaurant operations and ensure a smooth flow
  • Maintain a positive restaurant culture
  • Create work schedules that align with the restaurant’s needs
  • Ensure proper compliance with restaurant hygiene regulations
  • Train new employees to help them meet the restaurant’s expectations
  • Interact with diners and build positive rapport with different types of people


RequirementsResponsibilities
  • Handling Restaurant Operations.
  • Development and implementation of frameworks, systems and processes to drive efficiencies, meet compliance requirements and deliver a consistent product.
  • Developing and monitoring performance against annual budgets and business plans.
  • Striving to exceed set financial and growth targets, and close management of expenditure
  • Work collaboratively across departments including Marketing, HR, Procurement and Finance to meet objectives.
  • Effectively oversee daily operations of the outlet.
  • Ensure customer service is at its best.
  • Maximizing all revenue opportunities.
  • Serving all food and beverage as required by hotel brand standards and maintaining overall levels of courtesy, service, and cleanliness.
  • You will handle guests’ complaints in a professional manner and ensure great customer experience.
  • Hold daily briefings in the restaurant to review revenues, policies and procedures and communicate to colleague relevant information in regards to the operations.
  • Manage and control the actual cost verses budget on periodic basis and provide financial reports/data related to the department/ divisional/ project’s financial performance.
  • Ensure that team members are provided learning and career development opportunities by identifying successors within the team, preparing them for the next accountable roles and recommending them for external trainings whenever required in consultation with HR Department.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Manages day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven work experience in a restaurant setting
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Understanding of financial management
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant management software
  • Ability to memorize and explain the restaurant’s menu
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

Requirements
