Research Associate

The International Potato Center (CIP) is looking for aproactive Research Associate to work with the project team and other partnerson the implementation of project activities in the field, collection ofresearch data, publication of research findings, and that those findings aretranslated into a form that will enable practitioners to take new methods andtools to scale.

About the role

This position will be based in West Bengal and theselected candidate will help with capacity strengthening efforts linked tobuilding a community of practice knowledgeable in potato seed systems, cropmanagement and post-harvest management. The position requires an experiencedpotato person with good quantitative and writing skills combined with anability to teach complex topics to researchers at different levels of expertiseand as well it will be an opportunity to develop publications. This positionwill be based in Siliguri, West Bengal, India and will report to the Project Managerof West Bengal Project.
