Job Description

The Role As Lead Specialist, you will manage projects, working across client-side, server-side and Database technologies. The individual must be able to setup projects from the ground up, building platforms and applications. The individual must be able to comprehend the business problems and come up with multiple solution designs and able to effectively communicate them with the stakeholders.The individual must have a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.The individual will be responsible for their own work, and include client communication, System design, planning and meeting deadlines. Responsibilities: 1. Lead the projects in design, deliverables, and maintenance.2. Individual contributor, self-starter, hands on development and execution.3. Write reusable, testable, effective, and scalable code.4. Strong unit testing and debugging skills.5. Detail oriented, adhere to software development guidelines and adopts best practices.6. Collaborate and communicate with internal teams/ stakeholders/ customers.Job Requirement Skills Required o Expertise in application development using C#.NET, ASP.NET.o Expertise in SQL Server (stored procedures, functions, indexes, maintenance plans).o Experience working in structured development and process-oriented environments including Continuous Integration & Test-Driven Development.o Solid knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practices.o Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) required.o Experience working in support projects using ticketing system (e.g., JIRA).o Experience using Repository systems (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps). Advantageous Skills o SSIS or any other ETL tool.o Expertise working in SSRS / Crystal Reports.o Experience in other UI Frameworks like Angular, Angular JS, REACT.o Experience in systems like Charles River, Geneva, VPM (or any other fund accounting systems), working with custodians/ prime brokers/ fund admins.Academic Requirementso BE / MCA / BSc degree from a reputed Universityo At least 8+ years experiences in software developmentExperience in the asset management industry preferred
