Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Halwai - CDP to join our team at Solaris Hotel Indore. As a Halwai - CDP, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian sweets and desserts. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure high-quality and authentic flavors in every dish. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role and possess strong knowledge of Indian culinary traditions. This is a full-time position located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Halwai - CDP or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian sweets and desserts
  • Strong culinary skills and techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and precision in food preparation
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian sweets and desserts according to recipes and specifications
  • Ensure the consistent quality and presentation of all sweets and desserts
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station
  • Order and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events and catering services
