Tendering Engineer_Transport

RINA is currently recruiting for a Tendering Engineer_Transport & Infrastructure  to join its office in Ghaziabad within the Transport & Mobility Division.

Mission

Help the regional marketing team in the development of proposals and presentations that are responsive Assists marketing department staff that produce responses to solicitations and presentations Serve as proposal manager for multiple proposals Work with local staff to identify growth opportunities and to better market and position the company  Participate in developing business strategies and market initiatives that foster growth and cross-sector synergies across the RINA group Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities. Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary. Prepare technical & commercial proposals. Attend clarification meetings with Client when required. Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines. Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order. Participate in and actively support company initiatives. Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements. Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risk Ensure adherence to mandated business development processes including attending pre bid meetings, proposal making, client interaction and post bid delivery assistance  Other duties as assigned

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in professional services field such as engineering, Business Administration, 

Experience/Skills Required

A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and infrastructure bidding  Must be able to perform all duties in the job description

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing a team of people on projects of moderate size/complexity and/or multiple projects simultaneously with a solid track record of successfully bidding for projects from EOI to RFP stage to post bid management Familiarity with proposal management methodologies and tools. Engineering Knowledge: Proficiency understanding of engineering concepts Ability to collaborate with engineers and technical experts. Team Management: Proven experience in assembling and leading project teams. Demonstrated ability to assign tasks based on team members' skills, motivate the team, and manage them effectively Software Skills: Proficiency in MS office Familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
