We are looking for Electrical Harness Engineer with 4-8 Years of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore.
Key Skills: Catia V5, electrical harness Installation and Drawings, PDM/VPM tools, Airbus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The jobholder will be responsible for working on electrical harness pre-definition (Functional, Topology & Morphology).
• Ensure the data continuity for electrics design from functional electric design through harness pre-definition and to the 3D detail design.
• Work closely with Functional Design, Harness Manufacturing team and other related engineering departments to ensure the data is comprehensive and complete.
• Propose and implement digitization ideas through new ways of working.
• Reporting of all activities as per Airbus procedures.

Requirements• Strong experience with Catia V5 for the creation & validation of 3D models.
• Generation & handling of electrical harness Installation and Drawings.
• Basic understanding of Configuration Management w.r.t. Aircraft build process.
• DMU understanding and navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.
• A working knowledge of electronic and electrical components including connectors, retention devices and sub-components and mechanical components and their applications.
• Knowledge of one or more tools from the Mentor Graphics Capital Harness Suite (Capital harness, logic, library)
• Experience in handling PDM/VPM tools and link to CAD models with design in a context environment.
• Knowledge on the Electrical End to End process for the Aerospace domain is desirable.
• Understanding of Harness pre-definition and experience on Harness Topology or Morphology would be desirable.
• Awareness of Airbus processes & methods would be an added advantage.
