Performance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop reliable quantitative software systems. Produce high quality maintainable code. Collaborate with other team members through peer programming and code reviews. Understand fixed income business logic, a bigger picture and core ideas behind the developed software. Contribute to the overall system design. Advocate toward best engineering practices. Follow Agile methodology and its ceremonies. Technical Skills: 6+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Engineering. Expert knowledge on JMeter and LoadRunner. Experience in writing performance test plans. Experience in Performance test script development and test execution. Experience in Unix/Linux Environment. Knowledge of Technology Tooling: Monitoring and APM tools including Splunk, AppD, etc. is desired. Ability to Performance Scripting, Execution, Analysis, Tuning on Client Side and Server Side. Experience working with varied technologies like .NET, Angular, WPF, Mainframe, Flex etc., performance analysis at different layers such as JAVA, UI and DB tuning and troubleshooting. Experience working on Agile/DevOps. Experience (Total & Relevant):  6 to 10 years Education Qualifications:  Any Graduate or Post Graduate Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and individual player. Self Starter, Team Player, Result Oriented. Multitasker, Strong Decision Maker, Passionate. Enthusiastic and Self Driven. Day-to-Day Activities: Designing, developing, and maintaining performance test systems. Collaborating with team members for peer programming and code reviews. Understanding and implementing the fixed income business logic in the software. Contributing towards the overall system design and best engineering practices. Following Agile methodology and its ceremonies.
