Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct RCA meetings and derive root cause for all customer impacting outages using various RCA techniques and work with resolver groups on deriving root cause and preventive / corrective action items Drive governance around problem management to ensure that a problem ticket is opened, escalated, updated, and closed in a timely manner Coordinate with functional teams for root cause analysis or a permanent fix Coordinate and manage planned, change related communications to end users, while ensuring compliance processes are properly followed Assist in creation, assignment, and resolution of tasks to continually improve the predictability of service and enhance service offerings Interface with key stakeholders in a high-pressure environment, with the ability to engage individuals across a range of backgrounds and levels of seniority to understand technical problems and preventative measures Log known errors on the database and keep up to date Maintain and enhance the documentation and communication of the Problem Management Process Working in 24*7 support environment and rotational shifts Ask questions and make decisions to escalate long running Problems to higher management as required
Expertise & Qualification
Experience with Problem Management tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW) as well as general Infrastructure and Operations technologies used to support an Enterprise organization Demonstrable and recent experience in a fully operational IT Service Management practice or function at an organization
