ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

· Over all 9 to 12 years experience as a BI developer, data analyst, or similar role, with a focus on minimum 5 years solid experience in Power BI development and data visualization.

· Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) using Dax studio and tabular editor .

· Experience with data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.

· Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

· Design and implement data models, data relationships, and calculations using Power BI Desktop to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

· Optimize Power BI performance by tuning queries, optimizing data loading processes , and implementing best practices for report design and development.

· Integrate data from various sources into Power BI using data connectors, SQL queries, APIs, and other data integration methods.

· Implement security and access controls within Power BI to restrict data access and ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.

· Collaborate with data engineers and data architects to design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes to support Power BI reporting requirements.

· Stay current with Power BI updates, releases, and best practices, and make recommendations for adopting new features or functionalities to improve reporting capabilities.

· Provide training, guidance, and support to junior developers and business users on Power BI usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

Develop and maintain documentation for Power BI reports, data models, and data visualization standards.
