General Maintenance Technician Engineering

  • Conduct routine inspections ofhotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and repair issuespromptly.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasksacross various systems including plumbing electrical HVAC carpentryand other general maintenance duties.
  • Respondpromptly to guest requests and internal work orders related tomaintenance issues ensuring guest satisfaction and minimaldisruption to hotel operations.
  • Troubleshootequipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to restorefunctionality.
  • Assist in the planning andexecution of preventive maintenance programs to ensure thelongevity and reliability of hotelassets.
  • Maintain accurate records of workperformed including maintenance logs equipment inventory andservice reports.
  • Collaborate with other membersof the Engineering Team to coordinate maintenance schedules andprioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adhere to safetyprotocols and regulations at all times ensuring a safe workingenvironment for yourself and others.
  • Providetechnical guidance and support to junior technicians and otherhotel staff as needed.
  • Assist in theprocurement of maintenance supplies and equipment ensuring adequateinventory levels aremaintained.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of1 year experience working in general maintenanceor a related field preferably in a hospitality or similarenvironment.
  • Strong knowledge of buildingsystems and maintenance procedures including plumbing electricalHVAC and carpentry.
  • Proficiency introubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performingrepairs.
  • Ability to read and interprettechnical manuals blueprints andschematics.
  • Excellent communication skills withthe ability to interact professionally with guests colleagues andvendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and acommitment to delivering highqualityworkmanship.
  • Flexibility to work a variableschedule.
  • Physical ability to lift and carryheavy equipment climb ladders and perform manual tasks asrequired.
